| my my my, this fruitpaste is delicious. know what else is delicious? MY LIFE!
so even though the A/C is broken in my apt (and by A/C, i do mean air conditioner - not artificial cornea AC!!!), and felix and lindsey are in mothah russia for another 2 weeks, things are so dang good! i'm pretty much loving my job - it's perfection for me. i'm pretty much loving my apartment. i'm all up in this summer!!!
hanging out with BK this week till wednesday - i like it.
going to OKC with some kind of homeslice this weekend - it's gonna be on.
and june 1 LASIK BABY!!!

a new apartment!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that's right. on may 6, i'm moving into a loverly apartment in
the azalea district - and i'll actually be neighbors with one lindsey
"riggy riggy riggy riggy riggy riggy" rice, b/c she lives in one of the
buildings on the property. i'm totally excited about it
all!!! (except for the leaving a kb and a chloe and all of the
good times - that will be sad/hard, but it's what has to be done)
and who just found out that she's gonna get paid for good friday even
though i had taken it off? oh its me! deann convinced el
sue to close on friday - so we all get paid! i like it, i like it
alot.
oh, being a grown up IS good times!!!

| here's a little story and it goes a little something like this:
so big things happening - clearly, i got a job! i had given
myself until spring break to find a job in non-profit, and alas, last
week was spring break... and i was pissed. so at 1 am on monday
night last week, i randomly applied at sue adams state farm, simply
because it was the only job that didn't go through a personnel company
and i could upload my resume and letter of intent and email them right
then and there. behold! long story short, i got the job,
and i LOVE it!!! who knew that this was the perfect thing for me?
God knew!
just like yakky moves at skip bo or chickenfoot, or even high-stakes bets made with family members, God knew. i like it.
so right now i am the recepSHOWNist and i'm doing a few different
things while i take online training courses to "educaaaaaate."
within the next year or so i will get my licence so i can give quotes
and more - become an agent - become a pimp - own my own agency -
bank.
on the flipside of that loveliness - i have to leave the rock... there
were tears when i put my notice in on monday, and next week is going to
be so sad - i have to tell the kids and parents (and coworkers that
dont know yet), and it's gonna be super rough. yesterday gavin
said "ms. kaaaaatie..... why don't you bring us the bone pennnn?"
oh my heart!!! it hurt. my new coworkers will never tell me
to "write my name with the bone"... but if they did i'd be creeped out
- so its ok. sadness!!!!
really, its kafka. kafka = good and bad at the same time. oh its so kafka.
and tomorrow i have the wissies taken out. i only have two
(tsooooooooo) and so allegedly it won't be as rough. i'm looking
forward to the funny effects the drugs have on me. i bet my
family will mess with me and it will be hilarious. ahahaha!
